Wow...I just installed Realtek drivers and now my static has disappeared...strange, should I pickup the sound card anyway for future proofing? Thinking of getting some SteelSeries Siberia V2's.

Every mic/headset I've used with this PC has static: Sennheiser PC310 Creative Draco PC Gaming Headset And also a standard desk mic What could be the issue?...every time I'm in a skype call people say I have static, if i lower the mic boost, then they can't hear me, tried re installing drivers...
