I was able to fix this, though it seemed a bit of an odd way to do so. I simply downloaded the mp3 file, then changed the file extension to mp4, and for whatever reason, I was able to listen to it. I have no idea why this fixed it, but it did, so I suppose it's better than not being able to...

I generally just use standard music conversion websites that work. I've always used the same ones, too.

How would I know if it's been corrupted? And I do use the default music player on the device: Amazon Music. I've never had a problem with it before now.
