    It's possible that being plugged in and charging for 5 months straight "overcharged" the battery, slowly killing it over time. You may need a new battery. You're better off letting the battery drain ocassionally and then recharging it, than having it always plugged in. Just a thought.

    In order to use the dGPU, you must go into your power settings in Windows and select "High Power". It has nothing to do with the cable you are using.

    No, it won't work in dual channel. The ram modules must be the same size and specs, or it will default to whatever the slower module is.

    It is dual channel IF you have 2 SoDIMM modules installed. If there is only a single stick, it will be running single channel.
