Hey I had same problem and figured a solution. In the remote you can see a sound effect, make sure it is turned to Natural Plus or Bass boost because these are the only 5.1 modes, if 3d movie or 3d music is enabled, then you can get that 5.1 effect. Let us know whether it works. Bw it will be...
