I agree with longjohn, you know the inverse square law and all that stuff. Having said that the only benefit that this system would have is that it would eliminate the wear and tear on the micro USB connectors used on phone & tablets. I have lost one phone and had to have a tablet repaired...

You don't specify what model Pioneer elite receiver you have but I'll assume like most receiver/amplifiers it has an Auxiliary input (labled Aux). Most phones/tablets have a 3.5mm socket for earphones so get yourself a 3.5mm to RCA stereo lead...
