Finally: Google Modifies Gmail Conversation View

RafffI also find conversation view a natural one and cannot see any reason to get back to list view. One thing however I miss in conversation view is the ability to add mails manually to a conversation - this would be useful to me. And remove them too.

Finally: Google Modifies Gmail Conversation View

"The days of compact email viewing are over." No, the days of not having the option to turn it off are over. Since when does "You can turn it on or off as you please" = "It's gone forever"?

THQ: Console Gaming May Switch to Free-To-Play

Dropping the price to get more sales? Good. Taking out parts of the game and then making them more expensive as downloads? Good...bye sales.

Cop Drives 126mph While Texting, Kills Teen Girls

ct1615this is what happens when you give high school drop outs guns and a badge! The sad thing is that he's even a state trooper, not just a regular cop...there's supposed to be higher standards for state troopers...this whole thing is just so wrong in so many ways.

Cop Drives 126mph While Texting, Kills Teen Girls

jomofro39I hope the guilt he lives with torments him until the day he dies. Pathetic. It can't be torturing him that bad. He is trying to get compensation...

Microsoft: Blu-ray Will Be Passed By As a Format

Digital eradicating physical? Yeah right...Oh wait, maybe he thought it was 2110? Or maybe a different dimension? Seriously, physical copies won't go away anytime soon, if at all. As blu-ray won the battle for this generation of storage (meaning like VHS won), then it'll be around for quite...

Apple Ending the iPhone 4 Free Case Program

Apple's cure: cover the side of the phone in needles. Job's comment: "Now you HAVE to hold it like I told you to. See, I was right all along. You can apologize now."

Chattanooga, Tenn. First to Receive 1Gbps Internet

    1) Is that shared on a line or is that per house? 2) The usage better not be capped. 3) $350 is way too much. The average person can't spend that much on internet, no matter how good it is. The article should read "This new service will leave almost 170,000 homes wishing they had the extra money...

Nintendo Nukes Homebrew, Piracy on DSi

He means it will potentially impair people from enjoying their Wii (which is hardware they bought and own) the way they want to (e.g. homebrew). This is like Steve Jobs saying jailbreaking harms the iPhone experience so no one is allowed to do it. 1. That's a lie. 2. Shouldn't people be able...

Google Users Complain Over Nifty ''Ballsy'' Logo

Task manager says about 100% on my P4 when they are flying all over the place. And no, you don't have to click it to get it to start...at least I don't. I'm using Firefox with nothing else open BTW. I'm sure it'll go back to normal in a few days so no worries. It doesn't actually seem to slow...

Check Out the New, Improved Xbox 360 Controller

I'd rather have them make the analog sticks so that they don't get loose after being used a lot and also improve the bumpers so that the springs don't get knocked out of place so easily. I want my controllers to last longer and be more sturdy. If I'm going to spend this much on a controller...
