As far as power goes, the only thing I would advise you to look over is the CPU; I've not seen much on that particular model. Don't worry about having a Haswell, but look up some benchmarks just to make sure you'll be good. All the other hardware looks really great, so you won't be disappointed...

Sounds like it could be an OS problem. Does your laptop go through the BIOS loading screen before attempting to load Windows, or can you try to access the BIOS?

I have the ASUS ROG 501VW (the new version with the Skylake CPU and all) and I really can't find any information on the slot for the M.2 SSD which I definitely want to use. Any help?
