Well i can hear the dvd drive and the mechanical drive in the same slot. I have disassembeled it 3 or 4 times already just to make sure it isn't my mistake.Someone told me that this issue is common with the lenovo z51-70 is this true?

Everything looks fine and the caddy looks ok it's brand new, i am just speculating because the dvd drive is recognised in the BIOS but the caddied ssd isn't recognised at all that's the problem. It may be an incompatability issue, i don't know .it's all speculations at this point.
