Hi Jarotech, thanks for answer. by chord/bridge i mean the thing that connects laptop's screen with motherboard or videocard (not sure). I thought the problem could be because of some loose connection.

Hello to all kind people, I own a laptop HP ENVY M6 1105 dx. Some days ago half of the screen became vertical transparent grey with some colored lines right in the middle of screen. When I log BIOS the the problem still exists. I plug in external HDMI monitor and it shows perfectly that way...
