    yea i did update it but from what your saying it looks like im either gonna have to upgrade or find a different solution for it. thank you for your help.

    Hey guys, so I just got the new alienware m14x r2 and it came with a blu ray drive and power DVD 9.6. However it plays DVDs but when I put a blu ray in it, it recognizes it as a blank disc or just doesn't recognize it being there at all. Help will help thank you so much.
