For X2 to X6, I highly doubt it. I think AMD will not use X6 dies to fill up Phenom II X2 bins since they can always get it from the X4 Deneb. But an X4 to X6, it may just be possible. Perhaps AMD may even release an X5 Thuban so they can sell more expensively than an X4.

^ +1 to isamuelson. Before you unlock, try to get readings of both the CPU and Core#0 and Core#1 ( using everest ) and try to establish the gap between them. In my case, I got X3 720BE and when on its lock status, I was able to establish that Cores are lower than the CPU temp by a few degrees...
