Finally got through to higher level tech rep and was emailed a firmware update. Problem apparently solved!

I have a Sharp Model LC-55P6000U and recently the youtube app will not load unless I do either a factory reset or pull the power cord for a minute as a hard reset. Most of the other apps fail as well unless the reset is in performed. I suspect an update has been done or something similar for...
