Cannot visit Google from any browser

I was curious if that could've been the case, I did clear my DNS through the command prompt but it didn't immediately work after that so I assumed it didn't resolve it. Either way it's fine now, but was rather strange.

Cannot visit Google from any browser

For some reason, I suddenly can't go to Google.com with ANY web browser. I've tried IE and Firefox and it just times out and never connects. Google is LITERALLY the only website that doesn't work right. I checked and it says Google is up, I can go to my Gmail just fine and I'm logged into my...

Left clicks not registering in games sometimes, using Asus G73JH-BST7

Cool, that's a nice automated way to take care fo what I do usually when I boot up my computer. Using that program I definitely am eliminating whatever the background program is that's the problem - nice that I can easily turn the gamebooster off and restore the processes when I'm done too...

Left clicks not registering in games sometimes, using Asus G73JH-BST7

I tried Minecraft on dual core affinity and single core and it still ran shoddy - didn't fix the mouse problem either. After this I got frustrated and just went through the process list closing tons of stuff, including some Asus management software and ATI stuff. I got the processes down to...

Left clicks not registering in games sometimes, using Asus G73JH-BST7

I have tried them both offline and online - the symptom seems to be identical either way. I tried a multiplayer server in TF2 that was low ping (around 60-ish ms) on my university's high speed broadband, so I'm quite certain it was not server lag but the mouse. I'm not certain if the drivers...

Left clicks not registering in games sometimes, using Asus G73JH-BST7

Okay guys, on my Asus G73JH-BST7 I am noticing that when playing games sometimes the left mouse clicks don't register. I have no earthly idea what this is, as the mouse works perfectly fine in Windows - it's just games it acts stupid in. I even connected a wireless mouse and disabled the...

Solved! Help with a new used laptop

Ah, well this is a 17.3" - first comment someone made today after I bought it and was using it in class "Wow that's a big laptop!" I like the screen size though, to me the bigger the screen and thereby the laptop, the better. Where exactly are you seeing the wear %? Is this in Windows 7 or in...

Solved! Help with a new used laptop

Cool, I see all the Asus drivers on there - very nice. I don't think the laptop does come with an actual Windows OEM disc, when I searched online other people had complained about Asus not including this with the laptop and saying they should have - I don't have the link anymore but there was a...

Solved! Help with a new used laptop

Well I still wanted the button because I don't always use the mouse - I still plan to use the laptop to be mobile, not as a desktop replacement. The 2 hour battery life makes this doable for me - so having to use a mouse is a pain. I disassembled it (what a stress btw), tightened the screws and...

Solved! Help with a new used laptop

Okay, I'm almost certain after looking at it it's a G73JH-BST7. Seemed to run fine, no issues except the left mouse button seemed to click weirdly (Right side was fine, left side felt like the whole thing kinda moved when I pushed down so I had to push the left side harder than the right to...

Solved! Help with a new used laptop

That I don't know - these seem to be $600-$700 used on eBay. A review I saw seemed to say they were basically non-customizable so maybe he has his resolution set lower than native? It says they're all 1920 x 1080. So is this i7 still a quad? Bottom line, would you say this is worth pursuing over...
