thank you. i did infact take it apart before actually testing if it recorded the splotchy negative parts, which it doesn't. so i now believe its the lcd screen that has gone bad.

its a sony hd hdr-cx150 handycam recorder and i have been having problems with the coloring of the lcd screen. its almost as if parts of the image are negative, usually ill turn it off and take the battery out and that usually fixes it but now i can seem to get it to change back. any...
