Not worth buying, you will notice a subtle change at best with something like a Schiit stack. More volume for sure though and you get a physical volume knob (depending on the model). Unless you're hearing background noise with onboard there is no need for an external dac.

The HyperX Cloud is a great choice if you need a headset. Good build and sound quality for the price but the mic is mediocre. It should work ok if you're just using it for voice chat.
