I'd suggest you uninstall whatever antivirus software you're using and just rely on Windows' built-in Windows Defender. Updates, scans automatically with zero effort on your part.

Check out the HP Stream 11 and 13. Inexpensive laptops with decent capabilities. Also comes with Office 365. Try the Microsoft Store to get them with no "bloatware."
