    MERGED QUESTION Question from rcool2925 : "wont turn on-button not springy-now open/close lid does nothing" wont turn button not springy. been open/close lid for on / off. now no sign of life. dead. cord has light.

    dell laptop on/off button has no springy touch feels dead. open & close lid worked but not now. Getting no sign of on. no lights. cord is good.
