I've had this problem from day 1 of getting my new laptop (gigabyte p35k CF1, upgraded to 16gb ram, and 128gb SSD + 750gb HDD) OS is Win8.1with Stardock's Start8 shell. Drivers are up to date. I get thick horizontal white and black static lines that appear on the screen, or the screen flashes...
