I currently have a soundblaster z in my PC and have the headset hooked to that and it works well. The only problem is I have my speakers and headphones hooked to it with a 3.5mm splitter so if I want to listen to the speakers the headphones are blasting also. Is there a way I can separate them...

Would it show up as a usb device under the playback/recording devices? my work needs a usb headset so I would use that but I am just not sure how external sound cards work

I currently have to have a usb headset for my home office and I am using my sennheiser game one headset plugged into a cheap 3.5 to USB adapter. The problem is it doesn't get loud enough. I need a way to amplify the sound and still be able to use the mic and headset as a usb headset. Any help...

Turns out I was making it more difficult than it should be. I just went over to my media section of the samsung and scrolled down to the bottom and found a video section. Went to that and then found my files.

Not sure if this is the right section for this but I have set up my netgear nighthawk x6 router with a 3TB seagate HDD to use like a NAS. I got everything set up and see the HDD showing up but I am not sure how to access it from my samsung smart tv. Do I need an app on the tv itself? I am stuck.
