yes the cpu usb port works perfectly well with the headset. but i was curious if usb 3.0 had something to do with the static -

Headset Plantronics Gamecome 780 PROBLEM!
Its a usb headset and when i plug it into a Usb 3.0 port it has a lot of static. Is this caused by the usb 3.0 port or the headphones?
