Have you tried a clean install of Chrome? If you're running Vista/Win 7, do you force Chrome to use any compatibility settings?

What version of windows are you running? Just in case you've got Win7, here is the quickie method: Start -> All Programs -> Administrative Tools -> Print Management -> Expand Drivers Folder and Delete Drivers (You can also remove printers, ports, and stuck printer jobs from this snap-in)
