So my best bet is to get that other converter that you posted (1st option), because the blu ray doesn't have the red, yellow, and white ports to hook into your second option. Or do I need both? Thank you so much for your help

How do I connect a blu ray player (output HDMI) to a converter box (HDMI output)? Would a "splitter or switch box" work? The TV has rca ports only. I already have the converter box and TV hooked up. Didn't realize the converter box HDMI port was output (same as blu ray) until after I purchased...
