    How do I have my laptop recognize my new printer. I used to have an HP B-209 Photosmart & now I have an HP5660 Series..My lap

    This mean your laptop dosent have required printer driver. Install your drive from the installation dist provided with the printer or download it fromt he hp website by searching the model number. After sucessfull installation try print again.
