SOLVED. Jumpers had to be installed from your PRE OUT to your MAIN IN jacks in the audio section in order to power pasive speakers from speaker section. Page 13 and 15 here: http://www.harman-kardon.cz/manual/harman-kardon-hk-3490-hk-3390.pdf
