    Laptop For School, Au

Depends what games really, games should work fine at lower settings and resolutions (you'll have a real hard time running upcoming triple A games however), HD video playback shouldn't be a problem

    Laptop For School, Au

Take a look at these lenovo laptops, you should be able to do some light gaming with the Intel HD 4000 graphics (not with the celeron) http://shopap.lenovo.com/au/en/laptops/thinkpad/x-series/x131e/ http://shopap.lenovo.com/au/en/laptops/thinkpad/edge-series/e330/ Samsung ultrabook...

Need help finding a laptop! :)

I'm pretty sure you'd prefer a smaller laptop since you're using it for school etc. These lenovo Thinkpad laptops are around or smaller/larger than 15" and they are certainly quick enough for your usage, you won't be playing many games very well with the integrated graphics though (you...

    AMD or I5 Laptop?

Core clock isn't everything, a quad core 3570k at 3.40 GHz trades blows with an 8 core FX-8350 running at 4.0 GHz So having a slightly higher core clock doesn't really mean much The i5 performs generally better but not by much That i5 is a hyperthreaded dual core, its single thread...

    AMD or I5 Laptop?

The i5 will give you slightly superior performance in everyday usage, but they both just about perform very closely for the most part The 8550G APU performs better than the HD 4400 on the intel laptop so the AMD laptop has slightly better graphical performance

Need some advice purchasing a laptop.

Intel and AMD are both great, it just depends on what chip is in the laptop :D

    Which one is the best

Laptops do tend to run pretty hot, so you could buy a nice USB cooling pad for some additional cooling

Need some advice purchasing a laptop.

You could certainly take a look at these Lenovo offerings, any would be fine since they are only using it for light applications such as web browsing http://shop.lenovo.com/gb/en/laptops/thinkpad/edge-series/e531/ http://shop.lenovo.com/gb/en/laptops/essential/g-series/

Will this Laptop be able to run MMORPGs like Everquest Next, Guild Wars 2, Age of Wushu etc ?

They shouldn't have any problems with those games at 1366x768 at higher settings You'd probably need to tweak Guild Wars 2 slightly to get it running smoothly however

    Help: Choosing between three laptops.

You'd have to read up some quick guides for that. Boot from the windows 7 disc and follow the instructions

What should I buy? Laptop with SSD or with beats speaker??????

It's up to you, with the SSD you'll have much faster windows boot time, or you could get one with superior audio capabilities. Those two laptops are just about identical, the i5-3210m is a little bit more powerful than the 3317U.

    Help: Choosing between three laptops.

The first Asus laptop would be better for gaming, that 24GB SSD would also mean much faster boot up times. I'd recommend adding another 4 gigs of RAM into it though if there is a free slot available :D

I need help choosing a laptop!

If you're only looking to do those things then either of them should technically be fine. I do bet that she'd prefer something thin and light to carry, which the Acer would have the advantage at, the intel HD 3000 with that laptop should play those games well so as long as you're not looking to...
