    There will not be any noticeable difference in performance and therefore they will last just as long. Only plus going with the 6400 would be get a DDR4 motherboard and possible better upgrade-ability in the future.

    The 6400 has 2.7GHz clock which is slower than the 4460 3.2GHz making it slower although it has improved core performance.

    That is pretty high temp so have you cleaned all vents on your laptop?

    It does not stack. It is supposedly going to happen with DX12 but you have to have DX12 games for that.

    I am not sure about that one but most of the ones I have seen will take another drive.

    Looks like that it is not powering up to max and may be thermal throttling on the CPU. Check your temps.

    I7 at higher speed. The Dell only has that 256Gb storage while the Asus has 1TB, may be easier to add a SSD to the asus than extra disk to the Dell.

    I would get the Asus unless you want the SSD in the Dell question if it is enough storage for you.
