choosing a laptop to play games in general is a bad decision.

i have the sennheiser game one headset and fiio andes dac and i love the sound i get in games.

high boot time is the name of the game with mechanical hard drives... you should replace the drive with a ssd if you want it to be faster.

read the power adapter output specs on the brick and use the one that says 19.5 volt 3.5 amp. just like i said a long time ago

are the laptops the same model? is the charger even compatible with the new laptop?

alot of new vizio tvs are now considered displays because of the fact that they do not come with a tv tuner built in. does your cable box not have a hdmi hookup?

the fiio i got was 79 dollars and it works great but i got i like 5 years ago so i am not sure what model to recommend but any around 100 dollars should sound just as good as mine does.

all i can say is on my pc when i first got the headset it was way to quite. after i got a fiio dac and amp combo it gets louder than any headset i ever owned and sounds crystal clear at high sound levels. i got the open back game one and i just think it sounds great with the fiio dac.

i have the gaming one version and it is awesome. to be clear you will need some kind of dac and amp otherwise they will be to quite without.
