Are my hdmi connectors on receiver too old
I have a pioneer vsx 1121 receiver. I think it was purchased just when hdmi came into use. It doesn’t seem to be able to work with my cable box. Can’t switch channels. Must connect it to tv to work. Should I get a new receiver? Box:Cisco 8742HDC TV: Panasonic TC-P65V10
