I have gone thru the playback menu and there are no options to disable the laptop speakers that I can find. It lists the Speakers/Headphones as one device. I am not sure if this is an issue with the laptop, the IDT audio drivers, or windows 8( though I find I am not much of a fan of Win 8)...

I have a HP Pavilion G7 laptop with widows 8. Sound plays thru the onboard speakers even when I plug in headphones. How do I stop sound from coming out the onboard speakers. I only want sound thru the headphones when they are pugged in.
