Here is the laptop

The lights on my keyboard shuts off after a few seconds of inactivity. It will turn back on when you grope for keys in the dark and then shut off again. Super annoying!!! How can I have them on anytime my laptop is up and running or at least extend the delay time before they cut off?

I have the Aspire E5-575G-53VG Windows 10 64. It has turbo boost but unlike Windows 7 I don't see a place to place widgets or something similar on the desktop. How do I do this? I would like to be able to visually see what type of strain my computer is under.
