    I have a Toshiba DVR620KU and have it connected to my TV and my cable box. I can view vhs and dvd but cannot record on either.

    I have a Toshiba DVR620KU and have it connected to my TV and my cable box. I can view vhs and dvd but cannot record on either.

    I have the tv connected with HDMI to the cable box as well as the DVR connected with HDMI to the TV. Also, the red, white & red components are attached to the Tv and DVR.
