It is your BIOS giving POST codes. I gives out codes for different hardware error. Differnt make of BIOS, different type of beeping sound and meaning. May I know the make and model of your notebook

I have a acer aspire 5741 which when press the power button, the hard drive starts and the power led turns on but there is no screen input. There is a HDD LED which should light up but does not. I also plug a moniter in the hdmi and vga port but does not work. I tred starting it up by plugging...
