Also here is a part that took forever to find!! if you need to replace the combo jack on an Asus N Series. http://www.drivestar.biz/5pcs-u059-laptopmobile-phonenetbook-jack-35mm-p-3577.html Asus doesnt sell this part and instead want you to buy a new motherboard!!
Turns out you can just chip the little plastic rivets off and buy a keyboard that comes without the top plate, you will have to use a little non-conductive glue where the rivets used to be, otherwise not a big deal to remove the plastic parts
Hmm so there is no way to replace the keyboard itself...smh. On another note, does anybody know where to find headphone/mic all in one replacement port/jack I cant seem to find anything for Asus
Help I have not found anything about how to replace a Asus N550 or any N series laptop keyboard! I have the motherboard off but don't see a way to the keyboard. There are no screws on it. Please help!
