Yes, the extra frequency is going to make some difference, but not that much. Anyways for gaming the GPU matters more, hence go for the one wiith the 740m I hope this helps.

Neither 740m nor 730m are considered gaming CPU's so better stay away from those laptops. Also we need to know a budget range between which I can suggest something. Seriously, we cannot just guess in air the budget. We need to know some base point to start researching from.

Anyways you do not need an i7 for gaming. The i5 is good enough. And 7730 is much better than the 630. Hence my recommendation would be the 2nd laptop. Really there is no point in getting the i7 laptop for gaming.

Only if the i5 is of 2nd, 3rd or 4th Generation. Also the AMD APU's are not recommended by me at all. They are just good for budgets less than 300 dollars. Anything more than that should have a discrete graphics card. Also if you are buying the i5 you would need a graphics card to enjoy games...
