try ccleaner and clean all the junk files. try uninstalling the browser and flash again. sometimes it solves the issue. if the problem still persists comment here again.

with the last line of yours it seems like you have an hdd issue. does it create a memory dump? does a blue screen comes up before crashing stating a memory dump??

use battery doctor and clear ram and junk files. it'll help you make some space for new processes. hope it helped. :)
