Where do I need to connect the HDMI cable ? My monitor doesnot have a HDMI port. I have connected speaker to the audio port of monitor. -

I have EW2440L monitor connected to the CPU with the VGA cable. I try to play an audio file and nothing comes out. Also I could not see the monitor on the "Play back devices" when we right click on the sound icon on task bar. Please help me to get this fixed asap..
