How HP gets third place is beyond me. They make unreliable pieces of garbage. They get hot on the bottom. VERY hot. I replace so many prematurely it's ridiculous.

As someone who repairs laptops for a living I cam tell you that they are very cheaply made nowadays. The hinges crack and break, the mouse buttons stop working and they plastics are the cleapest plastics used in any laptop. Steer clear of Asus for now unless you buy one of their gaming ones...

Asus laptops used to be very good but now they are way too cheaply put together. The hinges break, the plastic cracks inside which makes the case separate. I've never seen such thin, cheap plastics in my entire life. Go with Lenovo, they are made well and more reliable.
