Its not that much of a problem to switch the source, but the idea of the echo is to be able to ask it to do things even when your at the other side of the room, maybe I'm watching tv or cooking dinner and decide I want to add a reminder etc etc, It would mean walking across the room, or...

Either way I do it, ill either loose proper surround sound, or ill have to press a button to switch inputs before I can use either - never at the same time :(. How about a buy a 2nd amplifyer and wire them both to the same speakers?
