No. It's nothing serious really, just thought it'd be interesting to publish since I have people on my Youtube comments coming every couple of months or so talking about the same issue.
Hi, five years ago I came onto these boards asking a question. The question was unfortunately locked, but I believe it's still quite relevant. You see; I never was able to fix my problem, but it's not just me. There are multiple people questioning the same thing; How do I fix my reversed...
I don't want to reinstall Windows for the third time, but this was one of the first things I did; Installing the game. Heck, I did it without the drivers first, same issue. Even when I then installed the drivers.
Sorry for the late reply, but here:

1. Yes.
2. All of them. Far Cry 3, Far Cry 4, Far Cry 5, Spore, Call of Duty series, ect. It just doesn't happen when it's out the game.
Right so I'm trying Razor Kraken headset right now and I'm still having the same issue. Also used Windows reset to reformat PC, still having the same problem. The Razor Kraken uses no USB and requires 3.5mm audio jacks for both sound and microphone. These have been plugged into the back of the...
What I'm not understanding is why the audio works perfectly outside of games but works reserved inside games. If this was a hardware problem, wouldn't you think that both would be reversed? I've just coped with having my headset reversed since audio outside of gaming isn't as crucial to me then...
I don't think it is. I installed Equalizer APO years back so I can switch the audio channels around from left to right to fix this problem. It pretty much gives you a solution when you game. Unfortunately audio direction reverses when you're say on Youtube for example, but you can't really...
Yeah this is a really bizzare issue but I'm glad I'm not the only one facing this problem. I've had reports it could be a driver ghosting but I already uninstalled the audio driver and installed a new one, didn't do anything whatsoever.
I can't believe nobody has found a solution to this yet...
I disabled those two and it still hasn't really had an effect unfortunately.
If it helps I posted this thread around the same point I created this one: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1139585-having-a-bizarre-issue-with-audio
Should also note that I refunded the HyperX Cloud Alpha, I now...
I'm a little afraid to do this to be honest, I uninstalled all my sound drivers in Device manager in hopes of fixing this issue and Windows wouldn't boot anymore, so I had to reformat Windows.
Let me know if it works for you.
No they were all pirated and that's why I'm not using Steam.
Just kidding, of course they are legal.
Yeah mate, I tried that but it hasn't resolved the problem. I tried restarting with it off (and saving of course) as well but NVIDA put it right back onto 'LG Electronics LG TV'.
Yeah, that is exactly what is happening to me... I can use Equalizer APO to switch my audio channels for gaming but then out of gaming I.E Youtube the sound is reversed. So either without that software it'll be reversed one way or the other.
My motherboard is Gigabyte B450M DS3H if it helps.
All of them to my knowledge. I've made a video showing it off if it helps:

One guy from a different forum that was trying to help me out said that the both the audio in the youtube video and in the game sounded fine to him. But to me in that...
