    i have dell inspiron 13 5000 series. when i plug in any headphones, only the speakers of the laptop plays and not the headphon

    I had the same issue on my new dell 13 5000. I spent 1:10 min on the phone with dell support and in the end driver updates for the audio and chip set drivers did the trick. they should have tried this a lot sooner.
