    You can use that receiver for 6 ohms speakers. It is a higher quality signal. But I would not mix 8 ohm speakers with 6 ohm speakers.

    I meant when the plugs are in the rear of your computer make sure the metal on the plugs do not touch another metal part of another plug.

    Have you tried slightly pulling on the plug so that it moves a little to see if that is your source? Also the the plugs that run into the rear of your computer from your speakers make sure that they are not touching each other this will cause buzz clicks and all that.
