First try to flash the tab if the problem remain the same then you have to change the touch.

If it is water damage then follow the saga lout advice. Or if the screen is showing blur images and it is not water damage then you have to change the screen.

Go to settings - about tablet - updates. From here you can update the OS.

If tablet is not switching on there might be no of reasons that cause this. If it is software then you have to flash your tab. If it is due to hardware, then there is 90% probability that is due to battery. Carbon, dust, loose wire, short circuit etc can be cause. See here for 15 possible...

Simply put: I see it as a pick between iOS and Android. Its all about personal liking. I prefer Android Phones as they are not locked down as Apple's products. plus S3 has a larger screen :)
