Hi, thanks for that, I was fine until I got to looking for the 'Brightness' folder, no such folder exists. Could it be under anything else?

Checked the drivers, the monitors driver is a generic PnP monitor driver from 2006. The Display adaptor is an Intel(R) HD Graphics driver from 2012. If it is a driver related it might be a compatibility issue in that I have to reinstall the driver under an older OS within the compatibility...
