i have a samsung tv(not a smart one) i have connected an external vizio sound bar via a optical cable,set the spdif to pcm and all good.when i turn off my tv and then turn it back on the tv defaults back to dolby digital and i get no sound.so then i have to go back into sound settings of the tv...
