There's a weird thing going on my laptop since I removed Windows 7 from it. Whenever I lower my laptop's screen brightness to zero/minimum level, the screen turns OFF. I had a dual boot system of Windows 8.1 and Windows 7, and for some reason I had to remove W7 and install Ubuntu in place of it...
