Feedback on my customized laptop before I buy?

I value thinness/lightness and performance most. 1 inch or thinner, 7 pounds or less. I also highly value a laptop that is aesthetically pleasing. The Razer Blade pro inch definitely takes the cake on that category, but not for a 2700+ pricetag on the 17 inch and 14 is too small for me. I...

Feedback on my customized laptop before I buy?

After having the MSI GT70 0ND coming in at 2+ inches thick and almost 9 pounds, I want thin and slick. Didn't think it was possible to have that for a gaming laptop as I was trying to customize one, which is why I said I decided on the Sager because it was the best I could find. then came the...

Feedback on my customized laptop before I buy?

from what I understand and have read, the 2x 765's outproduce an 870m? The Aorus is pretty upgradeable it seems from all the technical reviews I have seen, whereas the MSI you cannot upgrade at all. There is a sticker on the bottom that voids the warranty if torn, which ensures you never open it...

Aorus x7 Warranty: Buying via amazon?

So the Aorus website says 2 year warranty, with this asterisk: * Warranty periods and warranty terms may vary depending on different products and the distributing territories, please confirm with the location where the original order was placed. Amazon, and all other sites, sell the x7 for...

Feedback on my customized laptop before I buy?

I'm unsure if the Aorus has a high level of sales. So what you're saying though is that you can't really listen to most reviews. Also how can I even tell if I'd lke the screen since the Aorus is only available online? I saw a video but its hard to tell how it really is through my computer screen...

Feedback on my customized laptop before I buy?

Well from what I can tell the v2 isn't out yet and is to be released sometime in Q3, so I was referring to just the x7 (v1 i suppose). If the SLI sucks though then as a gaming laptop the MSI must be the better choice? I don't get it, like all these reviews of it via newegg and amazon talk...

Thin Gaming laptop: Aorus x7 or MSI GS60?

Why is that? I worry about how a lot of people complain about the "okay" screen quality. With that price tag I would expect something exceptional, and if a game is not SLI optimized would that create issues? I mainly play WoW so idk.

Thin Gaming laptop: Aorus x7 or MSI GS60?

For the GS60, the Geforce 860 or 870 are options. People say the 860 runs cooler which is a great plus for such a thin laptop. Dunno if that sacrifices quality though. Aorus link...

The Aorus x7...top of the line for gaming?

Cool I'll red that now. In the meantime, here are some things I have heard (cons) from buyer reviews: up close you can see the pixels The monitor is not that high quality. it is perfectly fine, but for the price, you would expect better. The black level isn't great (multiple complaints). The...

Gaming laptop: GTX 860 v. 870? Also looking for thin!

So first of all, I for some reason really want an 870 6GB. not sure how I got that in my head, but yeah. Problem is, a lot of the laptops I see that I like, especially THIN laptops, can only offer a GTX 860 2GB. Is that enough to handle modern games on highest settings? Also would love...
