    Erratic Synaptics touchpad

    The Synaptics Touchpad on my new Ace Aspire would not allow me to simply move across the touchpad to move the pointer. Disabling "two finger flick" under Mouse > Device Settings > Settings > Applications Gestures did the trick for me.
