    I said, it was sent to me in a screen photo, they literally took a photo of the screen. Not my computer, and I do not want to rely on the user more than absolutely necessary (see previous sentence).

    Google Chrome wont work with my free Avast turned on, when I turn it off it works well.

    Lots of free antivirus apps to choose from. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2388652,00.asp IMO, on Windows 10 the built-in Defender is probably good enough, plus uBlock in the browser and a MalwareBytes scan once in a while.
