Found a work-around. After setting my resolution from 3840x2160 to 1920x1080, everything works fine, but Chrome's UI is off, tiny in some areas and normal in others.... Firefox works fine and 60fps video playback works on every browser. Agar.io still lags but that must be my internet connection...

Will check temps tonight, though I doubt that's the issue cause the fans are silent.

Just to add, the themes in Chrome also get messed up. The theme applies without a hitch at first, then after closing and re-opening the browser later on, it seems to not load properly, so an element will be missing and reverted back to the original (and boring) theme. It sometimes cuts an image...
