It should be ok, but for very intensive AAA games, you may have to lower the graphics to low or very low

Everything's pretty good on this one except that the graphics card is lacking behind a little bit. How much are you paying for this? I may be able to find better laptops from your price range

Yup, all that is running is Task Manager (For some reason i cannot access open hardware monitor when pressing windows key, so i needed to ctrl alt delete and launch task manager which allowed me to access open hardware monitor) Crysis 3 and Open hardware monitor. All background apps closed...

CPU is around 80 degrees celsius and GPU is 77 degrees celsius

Ok i will try playing at 1024x768. That resolution looks funny on my laptop, but i have a spare monitor at 1024X768 from my old desktop (Core2Duo and a 9800GT) so i will try using that. Could you please recommend a program for monitoring temperatures? Thanks, Sonny

BTW the cpu goes to 3GHZ in turbo boost if that helped. I need to go somewhere will be back in an hour

Hey guys, I have downloaded a lot of software that claims to boost performance in games, but to no avail. Crysis 3 is a demanding game, I am getting 20-25 fps on minimum settings which is unacceptable in my opinion. My laptop specs are: CPU)Intel Core i5 3230M @2.60GHZ (2 cores 4 threads)...

It could play games decently at low-med settings. Should be fine.
